But while wealthy stars may have allegedly inherited the earth, they are often as spiritually impoverished as anyone.

Driven by their demons and DUI’s, public break-ups and private meltdowns, the rich and famous seek instant-karma in everything from crystal energy healing and kabbalah to talk therapy and tantric sex.

Or in Paris Hilton’s case, they parachute a Hollywood holy man into their entourage (Pictured at far left: former bit-part-actor-turned-guru, Maxie Santillan).

    IMO the only difference between celebrities and non-celebrities is: non-celebrities get to enjoy the freedom and peace benefits of lack of harrassment by paparazzi.

    On behalf of we who produce this site, I want to thank Cyndi Ingle for thinking up the idea for Celebrity Seekers, and writing it.

    This is extremely well done . . . worthy of Esquire’s Dubious Achievements, Late Night’s Top 10 . . . and I’ll stop.

    I absorb a lot of current events and media, and just went in and clicked my not-so-Slumdog-Millionaire answers. I only got 5 out of the 8 right — and I *edited* the thing!
