What a sick and tortured soul she was. Through the years there have been times that I've hated her and wanted to strike out at her for the damage she did to you. Right now, all I feel is sadness and loss... for what could have been and should have been and wasn't. Yet!!! the glimmer of truth that shines through and brings joy is knowing that you would never have been in my life without her. And so I thank her for the gift of you.
