Pope Benedict to believers: think about it

Pope Benedict XVI marked the feast day of Catholic scholar St. Thomas Aquinas Sunday by decrying the rupture between faith and reason.
“When Christian faith is authentic it does not mortify human freedom and reason; therefore, why should faith and reason be afraid of each other, if they can express themselves better by meeting and engaging in dialogue?” he said.

Faith and reason. Maybe start by making faith a little more reasonable. The traditional church is an outdated paradigm for approaching the great beyond. Why should I listen to someone PREACH at me? Hello! I am a sentient being of above average intelligence!
