VT: All that is Left

PhyllistheAuthor — Sometimes all that is left is prayer. Tara Banhrampour writing in the Washington Post detailed the various funerals honoring the victims of the Virginia Tech massacre: Buddhist, Jewish, Moslem, Christian.

The United States is often accused of being a secular society. Seeing the outpouring of prayers for the victims and their families, the candlelight services, and public statements of forgiveness and faith doesn’t seem very secular. Could it be that those who hate us mistake the separation of church and state and religious freedom for godlessness?
